Miguel Almiron crowned October EA SPORTS Player of the Month
Newcastle United's Miguel Almiron has been voted the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for October after a string of impressive performances.
The Paraguayan winger scored three goals and registered two assists in four Premier League appearances during the month, helping Newcastle to three wins and a draw.
Almiron's form has been key to Newcastle's impressive start to the season, with the Magpies currently sitting third in the table.
The 28-year-old is the second Newcastle player to win the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award this season, following Callum Wilson's success in August.
Almiron will receive a special award from EA SPORTS and will also feature in a special edition of the game's Ultimate Team mode.
The Castrol Game Changer of the Season nominees for October are:

- Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
- Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
- Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
- Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)
The winner of the award will be announced in May 2023.
