Babcock Is the First Pitt Player to Win the Award This Season

University of Pittsburgh women's soccer forward Olivia Babcock has been named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

The redshirt senior from Naperville, Illinois, earned the honor after scoring four goals in Pitt’s 6-0 win over Virginia Tech on Thursday night. Babcock’s four goals were the most by a Pitt player in a single game since 2019.

Pitt improved to 8-2-2 this season, the best start for the program in 18 years. The Panthers will conclude the regular season next weekend by facing Boston College and Syracuse.
